About

The person behind the sound.

I'm Sally Young — sound therapist, listener, and founder of Collective Sound Sanctuary.

Sally is a sound therapist who helps people rebalance, reconnect and return to their inner light through the power of sound frequency and vibration.

Collective Sound Sanctuary grew from that belief: that the body knows how to settle when it is given the right sounds to lean on. Through singing bowls, gongs and guided breath, each session works with frequency and vibration to soften tension and bring people back to themselves.

Whether you come to a gathering or lie down for a private session, you'll be met the same way: as the only person in the room that matters that hour.

How I work

A few things I hold to.

Slow by design

Nothing here is rushed. Sessions open gently and close gently, with tea and a quiet landing before the outside world resumes.

Shaped to you

There is no routine to follow. Each session is built around how you arrive that day — tired, wired, grief-struck, or simply curious.

Small and warm

A handful of seats, a candlelit room, instruments you can feel in your chest. Intimacy is part of the medicine.

Earth, not performance

No mystique, no jargon — just sound, breath and stillness, held by someone who has sat on both sides of the bowl.

Come and hear for yourself.

Join a gathering, book a private session, or simply write and ask a question. All three are equally welcome.
